Simon Stern
Qualifications:
Simon is an award winning Economist and Chartered Accountant. He graduated
in 1984 with a First Class Honours degree in Economics and Accountancy.He
was awarded the Adam Smith Memorial Prize for his achievements in
Economics. He was awarded the Silver Medal Prize by the Worshipful
Company of Chartered Accountants for the greatest aptitude for work
in Accountancy. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987.
Simon did his professional accountancy training with BDO Stoy Hayward,
a large accountancy practice in Central London. After qualifying as
a Chartered accountant in 1987, Simon moved to a medium sized firm
of accountants where he specialized in personal and business taxation.
He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England
& Wales.
Experience & specialisms:
Simon has experience of working closely with many owner-managed businesses.
He provides an all round service covering accountancy, taxation and
business development. Simon maintains his specialist tax expertise
and is a member of the Tax Faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Simon is passionate on giving his clients a first class
professional service and on helping them achieve their full potential.
Outside work:
Simon is a proud family man. He is married to Elisa and has 4 children
(a boy and three girls). Much of his spare time outside work is spent
with his family.
Simon's other hobby is mountain climbing. Every summer
he takes a complete break to enjoy walking and mountain climbing in
the Swiss Alps! Any client looking for a holiday with a difference
is invited to join Simon on this thrilling break! But Hurry, Simon
can only take one selected client with him each summer. And its usually
on a first come, first served basis!
